US-based Totally Green reported increase in revenue for the first quarter ended 31 March 2011 to $247,000, compared to $29,000 in the same period last year.

Gross profit in the first quarter stood at $130,000 or 53% of revenue, against 22,000 or 76% of revenue in the same year-ago quarter.

In the first quarter of 2011, net loss stood at $252,000, compared to $52,000 in the same year-ago quarter. The net loss included depreciation and amortization costs of $129,000, versus $3,000 in the first quarter of 2010.

Totally Green president Rob Phillips said during the first quarter, the company continued to transition from the developmental stage to increasing product commercialization.

The company installed nearly twice the number of Organic Refuse Conversion Alternative (ORCA) Green Machines in the first quarter versus the previous quarter, and is on track to double this by the end of the current second quarter.

Totally Green develops, manufactures, and markets the company's ORCA Green Machine and markets the Ingeo Green Bottle Spring Water.
