It's reported that Chinese steel giant Taigang released its price policy for hot rolled steel products and medium heavy plates for May. The company decided to cut the prices for hot rolled steel products and medium heavy plates by RMB400/ton and RMB300/ton respectively for May. After the adjustment, its ex-factory prices for Q235 hot rolled steel products with thickness of 2.75mm are at RMB3,350/ton and those for Q235 hot rolled steel products with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3,330/ton. Meanwhile, the prices for Q235 medium heavy plates with thickness of 14~20mm are at RMB3,360/ton. The above prices do not include 17% VAT.
