Founder Frances Cain is looking to raise £20,000 to launch the firm's new line.
A Girl For All Time founder Frances Cain has taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for the firm's latest range, Your Modern Girl.
Your Modern Girl is a collection of contemporary dolls whose characters 'refuse to fit into any stereotypes'.
The range of dolls will come from every walk of life and from different socio-economic, family and ethnic backgrounds.
"We want to create a new range of dolls that reflect the joy and freedom that come from being a young girl, with endless opportunities ahead of her, knowing that her choices are limited only by her imagination and determination," said Cain.
"Maya is the first in our new range - she is a continuation of our historical Marchmont family tree into present day and is a direct descendent of Matilda, Your Tudor Girl, the first in our range of historical dolls."
Maya is joined by Nisha, with an additional 4 friends to follow after the initial launch of the range.
If the Kickstarter campaign successfully raises £20,000 by April 16th, the Your Modern Girl line will start shipping between November 2016 and March 2017.
