On 16th July, Fortune China issued 2013 China Top 500 ranking list. Baosteel CO., LTD is ranked No. 22nd with the operating revenue of 191.512 billion yuan, net profit of 10.386 billion yuan , maintaining the leading position among domestic peers .
As is known that the ranking list is for the largest listed operated Chinese companies. During this year, the list threshold is lifted to 7.25 billion yuan . Among the Top 500, 47 companies suffered from loss in profit this year, which are two times more compared to last year.
In the ranking list, Sinopec and CNPC continue to hold Top 1 and Top 2 position . And the other steel enterprises listed in Top 100 also include: Hebei iron and steel CO., LTD(35th), Shanxi taigang stainless steel CO., LTD(36th), Wuhan iron & steel CO., LTD( 50th), Angang steel CO., LTD(62th), Ma anshan iron & steel CO., LTD(68th), Shandong iron & steel CO., LTD(70th), Gansu Jiugang Group Hongxing iron & steel CO., LTD(80th), Hunan Hualing iron & steel CO., LTD(87th).
